The Miss Roanoke Valley Scholarship Pageant has been announced as
Sept. 27, 2008.

If you are a single woman between the ages of 17 and 24 and you live, work, or attend school full time in Virginia, you have an opportunity to compete for the title of Miss Roanoke Valley, a proud member of the Miss Virginia/Miss America family. The Miss America Organization is the largest scholarship provider for women in the world. Today, more than $5,000,000 in scholarship asistance is available annually to young women who participate in the program at all levels of competition. YOU could be the next recipient!

Your Journey To The Crown Begins In The Star City At Cave Spring High School !

Among The Awards Miss Roanoke Valley Receives:
  • $2500 Scholarship
  • The chance to represent The Roanoke Valley in the Miss Virginia Pageant in June
  • Private Interview, Talent, Modeling, and Hair and Make-up Coaching

The Miss America Organization is the largest source of scholarship money for young women in the world. Scholarships available for winner and four runners-up, talent and swimsuit competition winners, community service and Spirit of Miss America Awards. In addition, each non-finalist receives a $150 scholarship. Meet Our 2007 Representatives!

The Winners of the 2007 Miss Roanoke Valley Scholarship Festival Pose for a Group Picture: Emily Hunt, Miss Pre-Teen Roanoke Valley; Madison VanDuyne, Miss Roanoke Valley; & Emily Wood, Miss Teen Roanoke Valley. Madison Won a total of $ 3,300 in Cash Scholarships, Including the Swimsuit, Talent, and Community Service Awards. Emily Hunt and Emily Wood Each Received a $ 1,000 Savings Bond. All Three Winners Will Represent the Roanoke Valley at the 2007 Miss Virginia and Miss Teen & Pre-Teen Virginia Pageants. Congratulations, Ladies!
